Job Details: Would you like to join our clients small animal and exotics team as an RVN? This is a full or part-time position.
Responsibilities for this role encompass a wide array of tasks including inpatient care, admits, discharges, anaesthetics, nurse clinics, consult team support, pharmacy management, ward nursing, and patient recoveries, alongside dedicated client care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with diverse species at a high standard within a supportive and welcoming practice.
The rota is meticulously crafted to ensure a healthy work-life balance, totalling 40 hours over a 4 day week, averaged over a 5-week rota period, with rotations for Saturday and Sunday mornings, maintaining a 1:5 ratio.
Weekly shifts are structured as follows:
- 8am-4:30pm
- 8am-8pm
- 8am-4pm
- Followed by a weekday off each week on a rotational basis. This results in a prolonged 4-day weekend (Friday to Monday inclusive) occurring 1 in every 5 weekends.
Their dynamic team comprises 11 veterinarians, featuring 1 exotic diploma holder, 2 exotic certificate holders, and 2 veterinarians pursuing certifications in ECC and ophthalmology. Complementing this, they have a dedicated group of 9 RVNs, several of whom hold the exotic nursing certificate or are actively pursuing it.
