Type of Work: Mixed Animal Vet Surgeon
Job Details: Our client in Aberdeenshire are looking for a mixed veterinary surgeon to join their team. A truly mixed role with 45% Farm animal, 5% equine and 50% small animal. Offering the opportunity to build up experience in all disciplines whilst working with more senior Vets in each area. Specialisation or becoming species specific will be supported as they transition as a practice.
You will be involved in all aspects of mixed practice initially involving routine small animal consults, all basic surgery, farm and equine first opinion calls with opportunity to develop skills in any area of interest such as fertility, diagnostic imaging, lameness etc.
- Working up to 40 hours per week
- Across 5 days per week
- 1:4 nights and weekends – TOIL for on call worked (2nd backup Vet always on call)
Requirements: Must be a MRCVS, experience preferred but they can also support a recent or new graduate who wants to develop skills as full support available.
