Job Description: Our client is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic mixed animal veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This role offers a dynamic mix of companion animal work and production animal services, ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys variety and the challenge of rural and clinical practice. You’ll be part of a supportive group that services both farm clients and pet owners across the Bay of Plenty region.
Responsibilities Includes:
- Provide mixed animal veterinary services (companion and production animals)
- Conduct on-farm visits for herd health planning, reproduction, and treatment
- Carry out small animal consultations, diagnostics, and surgeries
- Collaborate with farm clients to optimise animal health outcomes
- Participate in after-hours emergency rota (shared within team)
