Are you seeking a varied caseload? Look no further! This is a thriving country practice who are seeking a veterinarian to join their 6 vet team.
70% – Small animal, including pocket pets, birds and wildlife
30% – Beef cattle, pleasure and competition horses, sheep, goats, alpacas and even the occasional camel
Experienced vets and new/recent graduates are welcome to apply. Your day will be filled with lots of different things, including small animal surgery and medicine cases, cattle pregnancy testing, managing dystocias and bull testing, amongst other things. Most cases are managed in-house; however, there is the option for referral/liaising with specialist clinics when needed. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to pursue their learning and develop their own special interests. You will be in good hands in with this team – they have 80+ years of experience between them! There Vets work a four day week and share an on-call duty with another clinic where possible. They appreciate that flexibility is very important, so they can tailor the position to meet individual needs.
About the area:
The practice is situated in the large regional city of Armidale. The local national parks have stunning views of the countryside, and the NSW coastline is within a few hours’ drive. On your days off, there will be time to play sport, enjoy cultural activities, sample the local cuisine and wineries, explore some spectacular country and build life-long connections in the community.
