Type of Work: Locum Mixed Vet
Job Details: Our Client are looking for a Locum Mixed Vet to join their independent practice due to an expanding caseload while they hire permanent staff at their practice near the beautiful Cumbrian lakes and fells in the lake district national park.
Our Client are happy to speak with Mixed Vets with any bias, whether that be 80% Small, 15% Farm and 5% Equine or any combination as long as they are prepared to see whatever in Out of Hours!
This is a full-time role with a 4 day working week. There are weekend requirements of 1:3 and Out of Hours 1:2 currently.
Clients include family run farms with a good mixture of dairy, beef, and sheep with opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of mixed practice.
Equipment includes digital x-ray, in-house blood machine and ultrasound scanner for both large and small animal work. Support will always be available if needed!
