Job Description: Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic farm veterinarian to join their team. This unique role offers flexibility, with the option for a part-time schedule alongside a 1 in 4 out-of-hours rotation. Whether you’re an experienced vet looking to drive forward the farm side of the practice or a newer graduate eager to develop your skills, this position welcomes individuals with a passion for proactive livestock health and welfare.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver exceptional veterinary care to farm clients, prioritising sustainable food production and proactive livestock health.
- Support farms in transitioning to greater sustainability, empowering them through guidance and proactive initiatives.
- Conduct regular client meetings and organise proactive care initiatives, such as Annual Health and Welfare Review visits.
- Provide veterinary expertise to a significant client base of 10,000 cattle and 30,000 breeding ewes.
