Farm Animal Senior Vet Surgeon Job, Lewes, East Sussex, England

Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced farm veterinary surgeon to join their proactive and progressive farm practice. This position offers a stimulating mix of dairy, beef, sheep, and smallholder work, with occasional involvement in pig, poultry, camelid, and gamebird cases. 

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide comprehensive veterinary care across a variety of farm animals, including dairy, beef, sheep, and smallholder livestock.
  • Participate in specialised programs and services such as fertility testing and advanced breeding techniques.
  • Work 8-hour shifts across 5 days a week, with on-call nights and weekends shared equally among the team.

Qualifications Needed:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in veterinary practice, with a strong focus on farm animals.
  • Enthusiasm for farm work and the ability to work independently while being part of a larger team.
  • Willingness to support and engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
