Job Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated Farm Animal Veterinarian to join their well-established mixed veterinary practice. This permanent position offers flexible full-time or part-time options, making it ideal for those looking for a great work-life balance. The practice specializes in caring for a variety of farm animals, including progressive dairy farms, beef, sheep, and small holding enterprises. With a supportive team, you’ll be working alongside experienced veterinarians, including a Diploma holder and a vet with a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, ensuring ample learning and development opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for both new graduates and experienced vets.

Responsibilities Includes:

  • Provide high-quality veterinary care to farm animals, including dairy, beef, sheep, and small holdings.
  • Use advanced equipment such as Total Vet software and Easi-scan scanners for diagnostics.
  • Support progressive farming practices and maintain strong relationships with farm clients.
  • Participate in a 1 in 4 out-of-hours rota, with two days off in lieu for each weekend worked.
  • Collaborate with an experienced veterinary team for continued professional development.

 Package:
